First submission - yeah me!

I'm very happy/nervous/proud to say that I've submitted my very first piece of writing to be reviewed for publication! Earlier this month I sent to Glimmer Train Press a very, very short piece of fiction to be considered for their February 2015 magazine edition. Not only did I submit it but I entered into their Very Short Fiction contest….I figure if I'm going for it I might as well go BIG and be BOLD.

For those of you who don't know, Glimmer Train Press is a highly regarded literary magazine published four times a year by two sisters who read every single piece that is sent to them. I encourage anyone who loves to read, read short stories, or wants to witness the birth of a new writer's career to subscribe to this or purchase an issue of this magazine.
